AOF May 2024 Crop Report

The Australian canola crop is forecast to be down on recent years as the dry conditions have led to farmers take a more conservative approach to the area sown to canola.

The area sown to canola nationally is estimated to be down by 11% with volume down by slightly more as the drier conditions are expected to impact yield as well as area.
