Annual Timetable and Fees
Sustainable Grain Australia is fully funded by the participating companies. There is no cost for growers to trade ISCC certified grain under Sustainable Grain Australia.
The Sustainable Grain Australia year runs from 1 March each year until 28 (29) February the following year. Growers delivering grain up to 28 (29) February will be included in the Central Office pool and audits in that year. Growers delivering grain from 1 March onwards will be included in the following year’s pool and audits.
Participants are required to have a current ISCC certificate by October 1 each year in order to trade ISCC certified sustainable grain within the SGA framework.
Fees are payable by participating companies as follows:

Fee per certified farm2 is $65.00 (excl. GST)
Per tonne fee is 0.76c (seven cents) per tonne traded.3
- Annual Tonnage is for all grain handled, as per GTA membership level.
- Grower Fee per certified farm is discounted pro-rata where multiple traders per grower.
- Per tonne fee includes ISCC quantity dependent fee applicable to the Central Office.
- There is a minimum fee of $2,500 for all traders participating in the mass balance.
- Invoices are payable 30 days from data of invoice.
- SGA reserves the right to apply additional charges where additional costs are incurred by the Central Office through late or incorrect information from traders.
